Conrad:  "There's always enthusiasm in the air!"  It started out as a simple cup of coffee among strangers.  It was Dino's and Creta's first visit and veterans Conrad and Penny took them under they wings.  They suggested the lemon poppy seed muffins, their favorite with the roasted coffee.  Later, Creta would confess her obsession with the ham and brie panini.  It was a match made in Paradise.  More than 500 visits later, Creta and Dina of Sun Lakes and Penny and Conrad of Chandler still meet almost everyday at PB&C at the Falls in Ocotillo in Chandler, AZ.

This week, the staff at Ocotillo - whom Creta, Dino, Penny and Conrad also consider close friends - thanked them back with gift cards and other goodies.  "It's like embracing family," says General Manager Jess McNary.  Are there any "family" squabbles?  "Well, Conrad and Penny always go for the oatmeal or chocolate chip cookies; Dino and Creta head for the peanut butter cookies", she laughed.
